Generations,
Grow Here.

A faith-based, multi-generational stewardship vehicle built to serve the Walmer family and the Kingdom for the next 200 years.

Who We Are

The Walmer Family Fund is a faith-based, multi-generational family investment fund built on biblical stewardship principles, designed to serve the Walmer family and the Kingdom for the next 200 years. We are not a registered investment adviser, and we do not manage external capital. We are stewards — of resources, of time, and of the wisdom entrusted to us by those who came before.

Our Research Portal is the public expression of our analytical work. Every report published here represents genuine, in-depth research grounded in primary sources, third-party data, and original synthesis. We publish because we believe that intellectual rigour and transparency are disciplines worth practising openly — and because sharing knowledge is itself an act of stewardship.

The fund takes its name and its mandate seriously: to grow — not merely in financial terms, but in wisdom, in faithfulness, and in the capacity to bless future generations. The generational stewardship tree is our symbol: roots that go deep, branches that extend wide, and fruit that endures.

About the research publisher

Michael Walmer

Research Publisher

Michael Walmer is the Research Publisher of Walmer Family Fund Research Portal, a free educational library of long-horizon market and stewardship research.

The work is intended to make both the conclusions and the reasoning behind them available to readers and future generations. Each report aims to show the underlying questions, source material, assumptions, risks, countercase, and analytical limits so readers can examine the process for themselves.

Research is published to share both conclusions and the thought process with readers and future generations.

A Biblical Approach to Stewardship

Our investment philosophy is not merely financial — it is covenantal. We believe that Scripture provides the most enduring framework for thinking about wealth, time, risk, and responsibility. Four biblical principles anchor everything we do.

Luke 16:11

Faithful Stewardship

"If you have not been faithful with worldly wealth, who will trust you with true riches?" We hold capital as stewards, not owners. Every investment decision is made with the awareness that we are managing resources entrusted to us — for the family, for the Kingdom, and for generations not yet born.

Proverbs 13:22

Generational Inheritance

"A good person leaves an inheritance for their children's children." The Walmer Family Fund is explicitly designed for a 200-year horizon. We build structures, frameworks, and disciplines that will outlast any individual — so that each generation inherits not just capital, but wisdom.

Proverbs 21:5

Diligent Planning

"The plans of the diligent lead to profit as surely as haste leads to poverty." We reject speculation and short-termism. Our research process is thorough, our theses are written, and our decisions are deliberate — grounded in data, prayer, and counsel.

Matthew 25:14–30

Kingdom Multiplication

The Parable of the Talents calls us not to bury what we have been given, but to put it to work. We pursue returns not for accumulation alone, but to multiply resources that can serve the Walmer family and fund Kingdom purposes for the next two centuries.

Investment Framework

Biblical stewardship requires practical wisdom. Our analytical framework translates covenantal principles into rigorous, repeatable investment processes.

Long-Duration Thinking

We measure investment horizons in decades, not quarters. Our research focuses on structural, multi-year themes — commodity supercycles, energy transitions, demographic shifts — where patient capital earns a durable premium over short-term speculation.

Ratio-Driven Valuation

Absolute price tells you little. Relative value — assets measured against one another — reveals opportunity. We apply ratio analysis across commodities, equities, and fixed income to identify historically extreme dislocations that offer asymmetric risk-reward.

Publisher & editorial policy

Clear authorship. Independent judgment.

Publisher and author: Walmer Family Fund publishes and stands behind the research made available on this portal. The portal is the public research library of a private, faith-based, multi-generational family investment vehicle; it does not manage capital for the public or provide individualized advice.

Our stewardship perspective calls for patience, intellectual honesty, and responsibility to readers who may use this work as a starting point for their own learning. It does not require readers to share our beliefs, and it does not change the need for evidence, risk disclosure, and independent judgment.

Research is selected, developed, and published according to editorial judgment. Advertising revenue supports hosting and production costs but does not purchase coverage, determine a conclusion, or alter a thesis.

For the legal and financial-risk boundaries that apply to all portal content, read the Disclaimer & Legal Notices.

Original Research & Synthesis

We publish Walmer-authored analysis that brings sources, market structure, and a defined question into a coherent research framework. We do not present copied commentary as original work.

Source Transparency

Reports identify the primary references, public data, academic work, and other materials that materially support the analysis wherever reasonably available.

Thesis, Risk & Limits

A useful report explains its analytical frame, uncertainty, and the conditions that could weaken or change a conclusion. Conviction is not a substitute for disclosure.

Independent Editorial Judgment

Advertising, commercial relationships, and outside interests do not determine a report's research question, evidence, conclusion, or publication decision.

Publication, Review & Correction

We aim to show authorship, publication dates, source material, and appropriate disclosures. Readers may report a potential factual error for review through the portal contact channel.

Research process

A repeatable path from question to publication.

The level of work varies by subject, but every publication is expected to show a discernible question, a defensible evidence base, and a clear distinction between observation, interpretation, and risk.

  1. 01

    Define the question

Set the market, portfolio, or decision question; clarify the time horizon, scope, and intended educational purpose.

  2. 02

    Gather evidence

Review relevant primary sources, public filings, official data, industry material, and credible third-party research.

  3. 03

    Test the framework

Connect the evidence to market structure, valuation, supply and demand, or portfolio decision-making; assess competing explanations and key risks.

  4. 04

    Editorial review

Check the narrative, source trail, date, disclosures, and reader-facing limits before a report or article is released.

  5. 05

    Publish and maintain

Publish the finished work with clear identity and source context, then consider material corrections or updates when warranted.

Current Research Focus

Commodity Supercycle — Structural underinvestment in energy and base metals driving a multi-year period of commodity outperformance relative to financial assets.
Energy Transition — The decarbonisation of hydrogen, nitrogen, and industrial processes — and the investment opportunities created by the capital reallocation this requires.
Market Seasonality & Timing — The integration of historical seasonal patterns, the Presidential Election Cycle, and ratio-driven valuation into a unified annual allocation framework.
Natural Resources & Materials — Rubber, rare earths, agricultural commodities, and other physical materials where supply constraints and demand growth create durable pricing power.
